Antananarivo is insane. It is the craziest city I have ever visited and nothing makes sense. There is a high chance you will lose your wallet, your sense of direction and probably your mind. After loosing yourself in this city finding anything can be difficult. But eventually you will have to find food. And if you have spent over 2 weeks in Madagascar you probably need a break from Malagasy cuisine – so how about trying some of the best Indian I have ever consumed?

IMG_1845Restaurant Taj Mahal may have had the best food I ate in the entire city… (With the exclusion of Madagascar Underground Hotel’s awesome Mexican menu…)
It is hard to find any information on this restaurant online but it does feature in the guide books and for good reason… Seriously… The best curry…

Apart from awesome Indian the restaurant also serves some classic Asian and European dishes so there is some serious comfort food for even the pickiest eaters.

And yes… Vegans you will be looked after.

Seriously recommend the veggie curry. They asked if I wanted it ‘tomato or dry’ – not really sure what they meant but I went for ‘dry’ and it was dangerously delicious
