It is always nice having your own cosy ‘home’ in a foreign city and Airbnb seems to be the number one way to find a space to call home when traveling.
When my Mum and I were traveling through South America my mother had almost 2 weeks alone in Buenos Aires and she was keen to find an apartment to call her own and experience local Argentinian living.
I found an appealing as ‘Cozy and fun! Studio in Historic BA’. It was small, central and private and just right for us.
Located in Historic Monserrat, the small studio sits on the top floor of a traditional Buenos Aires Building. It has great views from the terrace outside. Gets amazing day light, and is very quiet.
The owner, Nicholas, actually lives in New York but his sister welcomed us into the apartment (with the $25US late-check in fee that we were well aware of at the time of booking) and showed us what we needed to know about my Mums temporary home.
It was an incredible price for the location and if you don’t mind small spaces my mother and I would highly recommend it for any solo (or even couple) budget getaways in beautiful Buenos Aires.
