It’s strange to think that the some of the countries I have visited with the coldest climates have the freshest food. Stockholm’s Herman’s is no exception. Never before have I seen such a food-coma tempting buffet in my life.

1236448_10151858736831273_1112693549_nIt was worth every stomach cramp.

First of all the location is phenomenal. Overlooking the city, the restaurant will give you a side serve of fabulous views with your incredible feast. The funky restaurant has an abundance of hammocks, tea selections and good vibes. The climb up the hill to get there also helps you justify going up for thirds.

The food itself is AMAZING. You will overeat and you will not even feel bad about it because it is SO GOOD. My lovely local friend (and temporary tour guide) took me here on my first day and I spent weeks fantasising about returning to Stockholm just for a second round of Herman’s.

Hello there, I'm Kat Knapp. I am a 26-year old Australian currently living in New Zealand. The past decade has involved a lot of travel which has resulted in me having visited 79 countries across all 7 continents. I have lived in Iceland, The Netherlands, Japan, France, Romania and Madagascar. Here is where I have shared a number of my adventures. I have an undergraduate degree in Sociology and Journalism, and am currently completing post-graduate study in Forensic Psychology and Teaching. I have my Private Pilots license, Adventure Dive Licence and Truck license which have led to some adventures on/above and below land. I hope to use this place to reflect on some missing adventures and ponder some non-travel related parts of my life.
