Rooney’s Boutique Hotel: An Enchanting Hotel In Buenos Aires

By on May 23, 2016

In the heart of Buenos Aires is the beautiful Rooney’s Boutique Hotel. Just a few blocks from the Obelisco and near the main avenues of this beautiful city we called this wonderful hotel home for 1 night.

Screen Shot 2016-05-23 at 3.27.12 pmLocated in the former residence of the writer and poet, Leopoldo Lugones and amidst numerous milongas, tango schools, cafes, restaurants and theatres, this exceptional building has long been part of Buenos Aires’ cultural landscape.

We arrived at Rooney’s Boutique Hotel after finishing off a 3 week cruise and it was the perfect place to revive our land feet in the beautiful Buenos Aires.

The hotel has 14 lovingly designed and individual suites, a lounge bar, cafe and tango patio. The staff were friendly, the room was gorgeous and the hotel was perfect.

If you are looking for a handsome hotel in Buenos Aires city centre look no further…

About Me

Kat Knapp

Hello there, I'm Kat Knapp. I am a 26-year old Australian currently living in New Zealand. The past decade has involved a lot of travel which has resulted in me having visited 79 countries across all 7 continents. I have lived in Iceland, The Netherlands, Japan, France, Romania and Madagascar. Here is where I have shared a number of my adventures. I have an undergraduate degree in Sociology and Journalism, and am currently completing post-graduate study in Forensic Psychology and Teaching. I have my Private Pilots license, Adventure Dive Licence and Truck license which have led to some adventures on/above and below land. I hope to use this place to reflect on some missing adventures and ponder some non-travel related parts of my life.
